You will get the chance to develop your people and consulting skills by supporting work with clients across a range of sectors, to address a variety of cyber and resilience related problems, projects, programmes, and issues. As a result, the role is best described as a cyber and resilience generalist role which will cover the following domains:

Responsibilities
The day-to-day responsibilities of the role include the following:
- Client work and deliverables – supporting the development of innovative, tailored, and creative client proposals, presentations, and pitches, playing a role in client delivery including project management, stakeholder management, preparing and participating in interviews and workshops, and supporting the development of deliverables.
- Self‑motivated learning & training – staying abreast of the latest trends, innovations, industry standards, thought leadership and best practice in cyber, resilience and tech fields. Beyond Blue offers applicable training and development tailored to your interests and the firm’s required capabilities and skills.
- Service and methodology development – providing input into the development of Beyond Blue’s client offerings and methodologies, conducting research, tracking progress, and standardising approaches.
- Business Development – supporting the team and contributing ideas with bids, proposals, and pitches.
- Project and Financial Management – assisting the team in developing and following project plans, owning appropriate project and financial trackers and status updates.
- Operations – assisting the Operations team with client‑facing activities including marketing and event management.
Required skills, knowledge & experience
You have a Masters or Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) preferably in Computer Science, Cyber Security or Business Resilience related subjects (but all subjects will be considered) AND/OR 2‑3 years’ experience working in a related field. You can communicate complex ideas effectively both verbally and in written form. You enjoy problem solving and proactively using your initiative to develop innovative solutions to complex issues. You pride yourself on your critical eye, attention to detail and organisation. You are intermediate or above in the use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. You have a great work ethic and are self‑motivated to effectively work independently, but also a strong team player. You have a personal interest in cyber, resilience and technology and actively keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments. You have a good level of personal resilience and embrace and adapt well to ever‑changing circumstances.
Desired skills, knowledge & experience
You have knowledge of implementing industry standards and frameworks including those produced by NIST, MITRE, ISF and ISO. You are commercially aware and can reflect this in your approach to organisation’s cyber and resilience issues. You have a good understanding of cyber and resilience regulations and relevant regulatory tools including CBEST, GDPR and the upcoming global financial regulatory policies on Operational Resilience.
Benefits
Salary: £44k - £60k
Working Environment: Whilst the role is a full‑time role, we do not measure our team members’ success on how long they spend at their desk and want to offer a flexible environment where possible. The role will predominantly be working from home, but you will be expected to travel nationally and internationally to fulfil client work.
