Ayming UK is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our thriving team in the heart of London. We are inviting talented sales professionals to join us for Beyond Ayming’s Doors, an exclusive recruitment and networking event at our London office on October 8th. The event is designed to give you a real insight into life at Ayming — beyond the job description.

You will have the opportunity to meet our HR team, your future colleagues and hiring managers, take part in interactive workshops, learn more about our work in R&D Tax and discover what a career at Ayming could look like for you. The event will take place in individual time slots between 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM, allowing us to create a more personal experience for each candidate.

About the role

  • Lead Generation: Generating new business leads through traditional go-to-market methods: cold calling, email, LinkedIn.
  • Client Facing: Prospecting high-level clients and partner organisations in person and via phone call, while having strong communicative abilities throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Research and Preparation: Proactively seek out opportunities to build client portfolio using existing network to close deals with organisations of all sizes.
  • Data Management: Manage and update the CRM systems on the database and report on sales activity.
  • Product Expert: Demonstrate updated product knowledge and ensure this is applied within all communications. Able to explain and promote a complex value proposition.
  • Vertical Focus: Deliver tailored expertise to increase market visibility. Aid marketing in the creation of bespoke content to be used in pitching and acquisition.
  • Expertise: An understanding of sales principles. The ability to deliver an excellent client experience, create compelling presentations and host negotiations.

Who are we looking for?

  • Business Development Experience: 5-7+ years in business development within professional services or B2B solution-based sales, with a proven track record of exceeding new business targets.
  • Financial and Tax Knowledge: Solid understanding of corporation tax schemes, enabling effective client engagement and tailored solution delivery.
  • Educational Background: Holds a Bachelor's degree or academic equivalent, supporting both technical competence and professional credibility.
  • Professional Work Ethic & Reliability: Demonstrates a strong work ethic, drive, and determination to exceed new business targets. Dependable and mature in both client interactions and peer collaboration.
  • Client-Centric and Proactive Approach: Organised and capable of independently managing a client portfolio. A proactive communicator who builds lasting client relationships and consistently seeks new opportunities through strategic lead generation and innovation.
