I'm looking for an associate acupuncturist to come and join me at my busy clinic in Bexley, SE London/Kent. This would suit somebody with a few years experience and an interest in fertility and gynaecology who is looking to rapidly build up a client list with the option of working in 2 rooms simultaneously. Flexible hours are available but it would be preferable to be able to work 1 or 2 evenings and/or a Saturday every week. You will work on a self employed basis earning a % of the treatment fee. The % will be 50-60% depending on your level of experience.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' health conditions and medical histories to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments.
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual needs, incorporating knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine principles.
- Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles, ensuring client comfort and safety throughout each session.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, lifestyle adjustments, and holistic health practices to support ongoing wellness.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of each session, including treatment details and client progress.
- Ensure all equipment and treatment areas adhere to hygiene and safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in acupuncture techniques and holistic health practices through continuous professional development.
Requirements
- Appropriate qualification and insurance with membership of the British Acupuncture Council preferable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain procedures and address client concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Ability to create a calming environment conducive to relaxation and healing during treatments.
- Organised approach to managing appointments, client records, and treatment schedules.
- Prior experience in a clinical or wellness setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided where necessary.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and confidentiality at all times.
