This role supports science and animal management students across A level and vocational courses, providing high quality academic support inside and outside the classroom.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering academic support to students at levels 2 and 3.
- Providing holiday cover for animal management technicians and ad‑hoc sickness cover.
- Carrying out the care and welfare of a wide range of animal species, supporting animal husbandry and facility operations.
To be successful you will need:
- Educational background to degree level.
- Passion for the care and welfare of animals.
- Experience working with young people.
- Enhanced DBS certificate and willingness to undergo online safeguarding searches.
The position is 33 hours a week, 5 days a week, and is term‑time only with additional weekend and holiday covering days as required.
