Responsibilities
Bexhill College is looking for enthusiastic and well-qualified graduates to act as a Personal Progress Tutors, supporting our students to achieve their qualifications. Personal Progress Tutors have a key role in tutorial delivery as well as supporting students with UCAS and their next steps. We are committed to providing a supportive and enriching educational environment for our students. We believe that providing an outstanding curriculum and excellent support is key to student success, and our personal tutors play a crucial role in achieving this.
The successful candidate needs to be confident in working with young people. The successful candidate could hold a degree in any area as full training is given.
The College would support candidates to undertake a Certificate in Education should the successful candidate wish to do so.
This is a five day a week role, 33 hours per week, term time only role.
The College reserves the right to interview and appoint early if a suitable candidate applies. An application form will need to be completed in order for an interview to proceed.
Successful candidates will be required to possess an enhanced DBS certificate to be employed at the College. If you do not hold one, this will be applied for after interview if successful. Please be aware that we are also required to conduct online searches as part of our safeguarding checks and due diligence for all shortlisted candidates.
