Bexhill College is a successful and ambitious college committed to delivering high-quality education and strong outcomes for our students. We are looking for an experienced, innovative and proactive Management Accountant to support our Director of Finance with the efficient running of the finance function across the College.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, ensuring the smooth and effective management of the college's financial operations. They will also be responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts and overseeing the month-end procedures.

The successful candidate should be AAT qualified to level 3 or equivalent, ideally with a minimum of three years post-qualifying experience. They need to have an eye for detail and be methodical and accurate in their work. The successful candidate will need to be able to manage a varied workload within a busy environment. They will be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

This is a full-time post - 37 hours a week. The post attracts 22 days holiday plus bank holidays pro rata and is part of the Local Government Pension Scheme. Four days a week would be considered for the right candidate.

The College reserves the right to interview and appoint early if a suitable candidate applies. Successful candidates will be required to possess an enhanced DBS certificate to be employed at the College.
