We are seeking a passionate and skilled Teacher of Beauty Studies to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator with industry experience to inspire and develop the next generation of beauty professionals.
We are looking for a well‑qualified individual with a background in the beauty industry to teach on our Level 2 beauty programme and continue to teach Level 1 beauty. Many of our vocational staff have joined us from industry and made successful career moves into post‑16 education.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about delivering high quality, engaging lessons which develop the skills and attributes young people need to work in the beauty sector. This is a part‑time role, two days a week (0.347 full‑time equivalent) preferably Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, though the days are negotiable. There may be opportunity for additional hours for someone who can contribute to other areas such as health.
The College welcomes applications from experienced teachers as well as experienced professionals who would like to change careers and enter teaching. The College offers a Post Graduate Certificate in Education through Brighton University and would support the successful candidate.
The position is temporary in the first instance, but it offers an excellent salary, generous holidays and an excellent pension scheme (Teachers Pension Scheme). Successful candidates will be required to possess an enhanced DBS certificate to be employed at the College.
