An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cyber Security Manager to join a leading MSP who were founded in America and are now looking to serve their client base in the UK and Europe. You will be able to work fully remote from anywhere in the UK.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing cyber security function to help serve their clients as they embark on exciting cyber security journeys. It is vital to have experience across the whole cyber scope to include monitoring systems & networks, threats, investigating incidents etc as well as being able to deal with a wide range of organisations and implementing strategies.
The successful Cyber Security Manager will also have previous experience managing cyber security teams ideally of 2+ people. As the Cyber Security Manager, you will have strong technical expertise across risk management, while also understanding Cyber Essentials and NIST as well as ISO 27001. This role will require a lot of customer facing experience so if you have come from a consultancy or MSP background that would be ideal.
It will be beneficial for you to have undertaken certifications such as CISSP & CISM. On top of this, it is important to have worked in organisations gaining expertise across on-prem networking and cloud technologies.
- Industry recognised certifications such as CISM, CISSP, Azure AZ-500 and AWS-SCS-C02
- Knowledge of Network Security, Firewalls, Load Balancers & Endpoint Security
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, methods, technologies, and standards like NIST, SOC2, ISO 27001
- Previous consultancy / MSP experience
