Hours of Work: Various hours (includes evenings (up to 8pm), weekends, school holidays, and Bank Holidays)

About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Reception Team Member to join our team and play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences.

As a Reception Team Member, you’ll be the heart of our guest journey – welcoming customers, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs, and supporting guests throughout their stay. You’ll also have the opportunity to upsell accommodation upgrades, park facilities, and extras, helping guests get the most out of their visit. This is a varied, fast-paced role perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering exceptional customer service at all times
  • Welcoming guests and managing check-in and check-out efficiently and accurately
  • Assisting guests with enquiries and resolving issues in a friendly, professional manner
  • Proactively promoting accommodation upgrades, park facilities, and additional services
  • Preparing welcome packs, arrival reports, and park information ahead of guest arrivals
  • Answering phone calls promptly and handling customer requests professionally
  • Processing payments and following cash and key handling procedures
  • Completing reception administration accurately and efficiently
  • Using booking, till, alarm, and key tracking systems confidently
  • Providing local area knowledge, recommendations, and advice to enhance guest stays
  • Communicating effectively with other teams via radio, phone, and email
  • Acting as a positive ambassador for the company at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a customer service or reception role (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • A friendly, professional, and proactive approach
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts to meet business needs
  • Knowledge of the local area is a bonus
