Overview:

  • Maintaining a computer data and knowledge of People Planner or similar systems and keeping information up to date at all times.
  • Working closely with the Registered Manager to ensure compliance with all office systems and procedures.
  • Complete risk assessment and person-centred support plans.
  • Answering incoming telephone enquiries.
  • Ensuring all client visits are covered and allocating all Care Assistants to the correct shifts.
  • Process new clients’ referrals.
  • Organise and coordinate weekly rotas and care services.
  • Work with recruitment to ensure sufficient staffing levels.
  • Carry out on-call coordinating and response duties outside normal office hours as agreed.
  • Dealing with queries and supporting clients and family in a calm and professional manner.
  • Working with professionals and organisations to ensure person-centred packages of care are being delivered.
  • Ensure that rotas are well planned and organised and to take into account for routes and travel times.
  • Supporting community care staffing in a managerial position.
