We are recruiting a new Clients & Markets Executive to support two of our key Market Focus Groups (MFGs): Central & Local Government and Financial Services.
Working as part of the team, you will help us to develop and deliver strategic business plans that: build our profile and reputation; develop our client relationships; and win new business.

The role
- Supporting the development and implementation of business plans for our Central & Local Government and Financial Services MFGs
- Support the Clients & Markets Manager with the implementation of the key account plans and help report on progress against agreed actions
- Working with Framework Owners to manage the key frameworks in your markets and deliver added value service, social value commitments and MI reports
- Organising, attending and following up on actions from MFG BD meetings
- Supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns, working with your MFGs, the wider BD & Marketing team, external agencies and industry groups
- Delivering an annual events programme to raise the profile of your MFGs and create networking and client development opportunities
- Working with the Clients & Markets Manager and our Marketing Communications team to deliver client publications and thought leadership content
- Working with our Knowledge & Information team to produce client and market research
- Producing marketing collateral for your MFGs to showcase our expertise through brochures, promotional videos, web content, case studies, etc.
- Creating proposals and pitch presentations and inputting into the formal bids run by our Bids Team
- Producing relevant legal directory and award submissions
- Providing input into internal comms and Board reports
- Managing contact information and mailing lists within our new CRM system and utilising the system to support BD, marketing and client development activity
- Developing relationships with clients, prospects, intermediaries, industry groups, journalists, etc. and using these to support and enhance BD and marketing activities
- Supporting the wider BD & Marketing team to deliver departmental projects and providing general BD/marketing assistance at times of peak activity
What we are looking for from you
- Experience of BD/marketing within a professional services environment
- Government and/or financial services experience would be advantageous but is not essential as there will be opportunity to develop this as part of the role
- Confident team player that\’s able to forge effective working relationships
- Highly motivated, self-driven, results orientated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills – able to communicate clearly, concisely & credibly
- Highly commercial – able to understand our clients, the markets in which they operate and the challenges and opportunities they face
- Very organised, with the ability to multi-task and deliver to deadlines
- IT literate with experience of using relevant applications such as the Microsoft Office suite, CRM Systems, email marketing systems, social media systems, finance systems, etc.
- Degree or equivalent professional work experience
