What you’ll do
Key Responsibilities

  • Outline and lead the activation strategy and performance of your portfolio and implement the global sponsorship strategy.
  • Regularly monitor, review and report on the performance of the partnerships and ensure that it is delivering against the overall business objectives.
  • Assist in the negotiation and contractual processes of partnership and sponsorship deals.
  • Make recommendations on new commercial opportunities as well as exit plans, where appropriate.
  • Ensure sponsorship and marketing activities are compliant and follow external and internal legal and marketing regulations.
  • Manage Account Leads to complete the day-to-day operational requirements; from campaign management to execution and reporting - ensuring all rights are delivered, activated and tracked.
  • Proactively develop the skill sets of the team members to take full ownership of their portfolio.
  • Work with wider Brand, Digital & Country teams to identify new ways to integrate and maximise our partnerships rights.
  • Present sponsorship activations and campaign reports internally at a mid and senior level.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationships with agencies and suppliers across your portfolio, to ensure campaigns are executed and delivered against KPIs.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with sponsors and partners, as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong understanding of the ever-changing landscape across your portfolio, with an in-depth understanding of competitor activity across the global sponsorship landscape.
  • Ensure the activation strategy is delivered within budget and continuously look for efficiencies.
  • Manage day-to-day budget operations across your team and portfolio, including SOWs, POs and Invoices.
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of sports betting markets, including betting products, and emerging industry trends, to support informed decision-making, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive commercial performance through our partnerships.

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrate strategic ability and commercial thinking.
  • Analytic competency to review all existing and new sponsorships.
  • Previous relevant experience within brand marketing and sponsorship leveraging, preferably within the betting and/or football industries.
  • Strong experience and competency in all marketing disciplines (ATL, BTL, Digital, Experiential, Media, Social).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Strong experience in delivering & devising multi-platform branding & engagement activation strategies.
  • Devising & pitching activation strategies for consumer campaigns and events.
  • Demonstrable ability to overcome obstacles and be proactive in finding creative solutions.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous Leadership experience.

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

  • Knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds, betting types and market trends.
  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards.
