Why we need you: As our Senior Internal Communications and Events Manager, you’ll play a key part in planning, delivering and executing the global internal communications and events strategy - getting hands‑on with global campaigns, quarterly Townhalls, End of Year parties and lots more. As part of our Global Communications team, you’ll be working closely with our teams across the Group, whilst maintaining excellent relationships with our company’s senior stakeholders, global office reps and cross‑departmental leads. While balancing creativity and outputs, you’ll be the driving force of your team, who strive to develop engaging and relevant campaigns that bring brand consistency across all our communications channels and ensure we provide clarity, alignment and engagement in our campaigns. Your influence, energy and expertise will be instrumental in fostering a cohesive and collaborative organisation that thrives on shared values and goals.

What you’ll do: You’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including:

  • Strategy and evaluation: Develop and implement internal communication strategies and plans, including driving leadership visibility and supporting change management. Collaborate with other internal communications teams across the Group, leading on core global campaigns which includes driving technology changes and providing direction and alignment for the global event team leads. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications, using feedback to refine strategies and improve engagement. Manage and deliver monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting. Review, propose and implement new technologies or platforms.
  • Communications and events: Oversee our Comms and events calendar, ensuring comms is captured, aligns to our business and IC goals and spots and addresses potential clashes. Manage and schedule communications requests from local and global teams, ensuring messages are launched on time, accurate and to our high standard. Write and support the team in writing concise and compelling communications for a variety of formats and audiences, including staff emails, intranet articles, business presentations and talking points, change communications, social posts and speeches. Drive employee engagement through innovative and compelling storytelling, campaigns and initiatives that bring to life our vision, strategy, values and EVP. Manage internal comms channels to ensure the right people get the right information at the right time in the right way. Build and foster excellent working relationships across business functions to understand requirements and ensure employees are engaged across multiple disciplines and departments. Oversee the planning and execution of in-country and global internal events, including Townhalls and large-scale company announcements, providing content creation and messaging support. Oversee the planning and execution of our CSR events, leading and contributing to the quarterly global initiatives and smaller local events. Lead on content creation and management of Betway Global’s LinkedIn account, making sure we spotlight business, people and CSR news.
  • Design and videography: Define the vision, priorities and content roadmap for video, photography and multimedia projects, ensuring all outputs support business objectives, strengthen the employer brand, and align with the global corporate visual identity. Manage the prioritisation of creative requests, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring the successful delivery of high‑quality multimedia content and event support.
  • People management: Lead the day‑to‑day operations of our small but mighty Internal Communications and Events team, providing guidance and direction to ensure that they are effectively delivering the required outputs. Track expenses and manage the team budget, ensuring we remain in budget and spend wisely to support business needs and create a superclass experience for our colleagues. Promote a positive team environment that focuses on collaboration, innovation and a solution‑focussed approach. Drive team development and growth via coaching, upskilling and regular feedback by providing tools and resources to transfer business skills and knowledge.

What you’ll bring: You’re someone who brings:

  • Proven experience in a senior internal communications role, preferably within a global, public, matrix organisation.
  • Experience in advising senior leadership teams in shaping and delivering global internal communications strategies.
  • Experience in managing internal communications in a multicultural and multifaceted organisational environment, with an understanding of the nuances of international markets and the ability to tailor communication strategies to a wide range of employees.
  • Excels in a fast‑paced, dynamic and global work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to draft narratives and messaging that aligns to a defined brand tone of voice.
  • Solid understanding of balancing and prioritising needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • A meticulous approach to reviewing work, ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality in every detail.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging content and campaign ideas, thinking outside the box and contribute fresh ideas.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with experience of advising and influencing people at all levels of seniority.
  • Solid experience managing digital platforms and tools, including SharePoint, Microsoft Suite applications and email distribution tools.
  • Tech‑savvy with an interest in discovering and implementing new and improved approaches (strategies, channels, or other deliverables).
  • Experience in producing digital content, including videos.
  • Exceptional organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with self‑starting capabilities who can work in groups or alone to drive results.
  • Willing to work, on occasion, outside of normal workings hours to support the wider businesses objectives or delivery of events.

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve: It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry.
