Senior Group Category Manager — Betway

As Senior Group Category Manager, you will lead strategic sourcing and supplier management to build a resilient supply chain, optimize processes, and deliver measurable value.

  • What you’ll do
  • Strategic Procurement Leadership
  • Lead development and execution of Category Strategy for Technology.
  • Manage sourcing project/renewals pipeline.
  • Conduct market analysis & supplier benchmarking for cost-saving opportunities.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and business units to align procurement with objectives.
  • Supplier Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Lead supplier selection, onboarding, and evaluation.
  • Negotiate contracts & service-level agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs & conduct reviews.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure procurement activities adhere to policies, legal requirements.
  • Implement risk management strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation & audit trails.
  • Support internal & external audits.
  • Process Optimization & Reporting
  • Identify and support improvement initiatives in sourcing processes.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to the Global Head of Procurement.
  • What you’ll bring

  • 3‑5+ years in procurement, focused on IT contracts.
  • Strong Excel, data analysis skills; BI tools experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and implement procurement best practices.
  • Experience with procurement metrics & performance tracking.
  • Skilled in managing cross‑departmental and geographic relationships.
  • Expertise in negotiating complex contracts.

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets.
  • Previous experience in online gaming or casino industry.
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience in customer retention strategies.
  • CIPS, CPSM or equivalent procurement certification.
  • Project management certification (e. g., PMP).
  • Experience in multinational or group-level procurement environment.
  • Ability to balance cost, quality, and risk.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data.
