About the Role

As Paid Social Manager at Betway, you will lead the paid performance ecosystem, ensuring campaigns are optimized, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead global paid social strategy across sports and casino verticals, managing full‑funnel planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting.
  • Oversee campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, X, Reddit, and emerging platforms, ensuring KPI delivery and ROI across multiple markets.
  • Develop audience strategies (segmentation, lookalikes, retargeting) and creative testing frameworks, working with design teams to deliver high‑performing paid assets.
  • Manage and forecast significant budgets, introduce new vendors/platforms, and stay ahead of industry trends and algorithm changes.
  • Ensure compliance with brand positioning, regulatory standards, and responsible gaming requirements while aligning paid and organic strategies.
  • Provide performance insights to senior stakeholders, lead real‑time amplification around major events, and collaborate cross‑functionally with CRM, Retention, Sponsorship, and Finance teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with platform representatives and external agencies, and conduct post‑campaign analysis to inform future planning.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing large‑scale paid social campaigns for major B2C brands, preferably in sports, entertainment, gaming, or betting.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in reporting tools, attribution models, mobile measurement partners (e.g., AppsFlyer), and advanced Excel.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Experience briefing, developing, and optimising high‑impact creative formats with a strong understanding of sports culture and casino audiences.
  • Skilled in managing significant budgets across multiple markets while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and responsible gaming requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders across Marketing, Digital, CRM, Retention, and Sponsorship teams.
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a commitment to high‑quality work.
  • Adaptability, drive, and the ability to thrive in fast‑moving environments.

Desirable Skills

  • In‑depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation and betting types.
  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry with an understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations in various jurisdictions (UKGC, ASA, AGCO) and compliance requirements.
  • Experience developing and executing customer retention strategies.
  • Certification on major platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat) and pixel implementation expertise.
  • Creative mindset for high‑performing formats; degree in marketing or related field.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/French).
  • Experience with cross‑channel digital marketing and managing agencies/partners.
