As the Senior Social Media Designer, you will develop visually compelling content for our social media platforms. The ideal candidate will combine strong design skills with an understanding of social media trends to create engaging graphics, animations, and multimedia content that enhances brand identity and drives audience engagement. What you’ll do

  • Lead the design and production of high-quality, short-form motion content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, Stories, paid social video)
  • Conceptualize and execute scroll-stopping motion-first creative aligned to campaign and always-on strategies
  • Combine traditional design tools (Adobe CC, After Effects, Premiere Pro) with AI-driven tools (e.g., generative design, text-to-video, automated editing tools) to scale creative output
  • Translate brand, campaign, and cultural insights into engaging, platform-native visual storytelling
  • Own the end-to-end motion design process, from concept to final export, including animation, editing, sound, and pacing
  • Collaborate closely with social strategists, community teams, copywriters, and performance marketers to deliver brand-led creative
  • Optimise creative for platform algorithms, audience behaviours, and performance KPIs (engagement, completion rate, conversions)
  • Build and maintain modular templates, toolkits, and motion systems to increase speed and consistency at scale
  • Leverage AI-assisted workflows to rapidly prototype, iterate, and personalise content
  • Stay ahead of emerging social trends, formats, and creator styles, translating them into brand-relevant executions
  • Adapt and localise global/campaign assets into dynamic, social-first motion content
  • Partner with influencers and creators to ensure visual alignment and quality of co-created content
  • Drive creative testing (A/B and multivariate) and iterate based on performance insights
  • Ensure all content meets brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and platform best practices (e.g., captions, framing, safe zones)
  • Contribute to the evolution of the brand’s motion identity and social design language
  • Manage high-volume production workflows, balancing speed with creative excellence
  • Mentor junior designers and provide creative direction and feedback within the team
  • Present concepts and creative rationale confidently to stakeholders

What you’ll bring

  • Advanced proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Strong short-form video editing and motion design capability
  • Hands-on experience with AI creative tools (e.g., generative visuals, text-to-video, AI editing)
  • Proficiency in social-first content tools (e.g., CapCut or similar)
  • Solid understanding of platform specs and formats (Reels, Shorts, etc.)
  • At least 5 years’ similar experience in a social media designer function
