As our Senior Group Category Manager, you’ll play a key part in delivering and owning the end-to-end procurement strategy across digital media, creative, brand and performance marketing, building strong partnerships with Marketing, Finance, and Commercial teams. The role will focus on value delivery, performance optimisation, and innovation across a complex global supplier landscape, for us to stay ahead of the game.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and deliver the global category strategy for Marketing, Media & Ad Tech, aligned to business objectives.
  • Develop short-, mid-, and long-term category plans based on market intelligence, supplier benchmarking, and demand analysis.
  • Drive cost optimisation, value creation, and innovation across the marketing supply base.
  • Lead sourcing across ad tech platforms, creative, brand, and performance marketing agencies.
  • Ensure alignment between global strategy and regional execution.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing events from specification to contract execution.
  • Negotiate complex commercial models, securing best-in-class contractual terms.
  • Act as a trusted commercial partner to Marketing, Growth and Commercial teams.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Legal to ensure benefit delivery, contract compliance, and financial transparency.
  • Manage supplier risk, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Track and report cost savings, value delivery, budget adherence, and variance reporting.
  • Identify and support improvement initiatives in Sourcing processes, policy, guidance and reporting.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years procurement experience, with strong exposure to Marketing / Media categories.
  • Deep understanding of media buying, agency models, and marketing ecosystems.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with BI tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead.
  • Experience in process improvement and implementing procurement best practices.
  • Familiarity with procurement metrics and performance tracking.
  • Skilled in managing relationships across departments and geographies.
  • Expertise in negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier agreements.

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve:

  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends.
  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions.
  • Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies.
  • CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent procurement certification preferred.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is an advantage.
  • Experience in a multinational or group-level procurement environment.
  • Ability to balance cost, quality, and risk in procurement decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive strategic decisions.
  • Ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in procurement activities.
