This role requires on-site presence in Ipswich (3 days per week). We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join our Journey Team. Journey is responsible for integrating the regulatory and account management systems that power our Sports and iGaming platform—critical services that keep our global operation running smoothly and securely.
As a SEM, you will lead a team of talented Software Engineers based in Ipswich. You’ll play a pivotal role in defining platform and technology strategy while being accountable for the delivery, performance, and reliability of the services your teams build. You will also drive the growth, coaching, and development of the engineering group.
What you’ll do:
- Develop people and foster a strong team culture through coaching, mentoring, and leadership.
- Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team to hire and onboard engineering talent.
- Grow the technical expertise and capabilities of your engineering team.
- Guide the team in improving the performance, resilience, and scalability of core systems.
- Collaborate with engineering groups across the wider organisation to solve platform-wide challenges across Sports and iGaming.
