Are you an experienced administrator who thrives on making a meaningful impact? Join Bettys & Taylors Group and play a vital role in our Governance, Risk & Compliance function. We're looking for a proactive, detail-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and partnering closely with our Group Legal team to keep things running smoothly and effectively.

This is a part-time role (22.5 hours per week), offering flexibility in what days those hours are worked. We welcome applicants to share their preferred working pattern in their cover letter, and further details can be discussed during the recruitment process. The role will offer hybrid working based from Harrogate (HG2 7LD). Please note that this position is not suitable for fully remote applicants, as regular on-site collaboration in Harrogate is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organising internal/external meetings and maintaining attendance records
  • Managing trademarks, legal case files, and document logs
  • Processing supplier invoices and maintaining budget trackers
  • Coordinating and reporting on Data Protection and Health & Safety training
  • Supporting leadership engagement, training sessions, and presentations
  • Maintaining policies, templates, and compliance logs
  • Providing general admin support (inductions, queries, events, onboarding)
  • Assisting with office tasks such as post, stationery, reception, and crisis manual updates
What You Bring
  • Proven administrative experience
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Solid understanding of office procedures
  • GCSEs (or equivalent)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and use sound judgement
  • Strong verbal and written communication, including proofreading
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Professional and discreet with confidential information
