An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Internal Communications & Engagement Business Partner to join the Group Communications team on a fixed term basis until the end of February 2027 covering an internal secondment. This role will suit an exceptional communications professional who’s keen to work closely with leaders and key stakeholders across our Bettys business to develop and deliver a strategic programme of internal communications.
This role offers the opportunity to deliver internal communications for our branch, Bakery and support teams, as well as supporting the delivery of integrated Group-wide communications and campaigns. You’ll be responsible for engaging our people in Bettys’ business priorities, our values and culture, and ensuring our people feel proud to work as part of Bettys & Taylors Group.
Reporting into the Internal Communications Lead, you’ll be part of a highly motivated and creative team who sit at the centre of the business - keeping the Group connected through a variety of internal channels with compelling communications.
To be successful you’ll need to be able to demonstrate:
- A proven track record of developing communications strategies and plans to support business performance.
- Experience of effectively engaging and managing senior stakeholders and providing internal communications counsel both in a proactive and reactive capacity.
- Outstanding communication skills, with strong attention to detail; a proven track record in turning complex issues into simple narratives and writing and creating compelling content across a range of formats.
- Experience of working across multiple priorities – balancing demands and finding connections between workstreams.
- Creative ability to suggest and drive new ideas and ways of presenting content to gain maximum engagement across a range of internal audiences.
- Experience of developing and managing employee engagement events and editing internal publications to a high standard.
- Competence in developing and working with a variety of internal communication channels and an understanding of how to use, measure and develop channels to increase impact.
- Experience of inspiring, coaching and supporting others to improve their communications skills.
