A brand people genuinely care about. At the Bettys & Taylors Group, we are a business that has grown by doing things the right way. Family owned, Yorkshire based, and home to three iconic brands, Yorkshire Tea, Bettys and Taylors of Harrogate, the group has built a reputation for quality, integrity and long-term thinking. Everything is guided by our Six Ps: Prosperity, People, Planet, Product, Passion and Process. These are not just principles, they shape how we operate, how decisions are made, and how people are treated.
Yorkshire Tea is a brilliant example of this. Carefully sourced, consistently high quality, and trusted by millions, Yorkshire has grown significantly over the past decade to become the UK’s number 1 tea brand and one of the nation’s most loved brews. We are a business with genuine heritage, built over generations, that continues to evolve and stay relevant in a fast-moving market. Respect for tradition sits alongside our constant drive to innovate, finding new occasions, new formats, and new ways to bring the brand to consumers. Now, that same mindset is driving growth in one of the most exciting areas of our business. The expansion of Yorkshire Iced Tea, taking the brand beyond the kettle and into the fast-growing ready-to-drink space, creating new consumption moments.
This role is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract, providing the opportunity to gain high-profile experience within a market-leading brand. The role will involve regular time spent at the Head Office, so candidates should be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Harrogate, typically across Yorkshire, the North West, North East or North Midlands.
The Role
This is a National Account Executive role with a strong commercial and in-market focus, sitting at the heart of Taylors’ growth across the Out of Home channel. In OOH, success is driven by creating demand, building relationships, and ensuring product is actively sold through the supply chain into venues where it is ultimately consumed. You will be working across key Foodservice Wholesale customers including Country Range Group, The Wholesale Group (formerly Confex), and assorted OOH distributors. However, this is a role that goes beyond Head Office. You will work with wholesalers, their sales teams, and directly with end-user venues, helping to create genuine “pull” in the market. That means getting involved in trade days, sales meetings, customer activations and events, ensuring the brand is visible, understood and actively driven by those selling it. Alongside this, you will support the expansion of Yorkshire Iced Tea, helping bring the brand into new formats and occasions across foodservice and drinks wholesale. This adds a layer of innovation and growth, as the business continues to evolve beyond traditional consumption.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Head Office relationships with buying groups, including promotions and ongoing account management
- Build and execute plans around distribution, range, promotion and investment
- Work directly with wholesaler sales teams, delivering events, trade days and activations
- Use distributor sales forces to drive engagement and sales in market
- Develop new trading relationships across OOH distributors and buying group members
- Work directly with end-user venues to secure new business and grow existing accounts
- Support field sales teams with coordination, materials and customer engagement
- Manage forecasting, promotional funding, invoicing and account administration
- Work closely with commercial finance and trade marketing to deliver profitable growth
This is a role that blends commercial thinking with real market activity. It requires energy, ownership and the ability to make things happen.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have gained experience across one more of the following areas within the FMCG:
- National Account Executive
- Territory or Regional Account Management
- Across foodservice, wholesale, retail or on-trade
You will bring:
- Strong relationship-building skills and confidence working with customers
- A proactive, hands-on mindset
- Commercial awareness and the ability to work with data
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Most importantly, you will enjoy being out in the market, building something, not just maintaining it.
We welcome applications from all cultures, backgrounds, and experiences and we are committed to offering an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive.

We kindly ask that other recruitment agencies respect this decision and do not contact us directly regarding this role.
