Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with excellent administrative skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? We are recruiting for a Branch Administrator based at Bettys Café Tearooms in York to support with finance and general administration for the effective and efficient running of the branch.
This is a Part Time role working 22 hours over 4 days including working at the weekend. This would be Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and Sunday. You will work alongside another Branch Administrator to provide the branch with 7 day cover. If you would like to discuss working patterns, please provide more details in your application.
Responsibilities
- Finance administration and reconciliation including cash handling, banking and floats
- Processing invoices and credit notes
- Being a key central point of contact in the branch and providing excellent customer service in response to queries and messages from and to external and internal customers, handled over the phone, email or post
- General administration including reporting, ordering and management of equipment, updating logs and reports, management of personnel and other files, keeping systems up to date and other ad hoc duties as required
About you
- The position will suit someone who is proficient in administrative tasks and experience in dealing with invoices or cash handling/banking is preferable but not essential
- You will possess strong organisational skills with the ability to work at pace and solve problems effectively
- You will be a good communicator and have good interpersonal skills with a ‘can do’ and customer-focused approach
- You will work with strong attention to detail and possess numeracy skills and be computer literate, for high levels of accuracy and confidentiality, following company policies and procedures
- You will have the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
