We’re looking for an ambitious paralegal who will play a key cross-functional role in supporting Betty’s legal team both on day-to-day matters and strategic initiatives. You will gain exposure across corporate governance, market expansion, contract management and Know Your Client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day corporate maintenance across all group entities, including maintaining corporate entity registries and organizational charts as well as drafting basic board minutes/resolutions.
- Maintain Betty’s contract management database, including tracking key milestones in the contract’s lifecycle.
- Support Betty’s Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes.
- Collaborate with other team members to compile, organise and draft regulatory license applications and other filings.
- Maintain data rooms and due diligence files for potential strategic partnerships and investments.
- Assist with wider projects and initiatives undertaken by the Legal Team.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of paralegal or junior legal experience gained in-house or at a recognized law firm.
- Exceptional organizational and document management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders.
- A curiosity mindset with the ability to adapt quickly and perform well in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Nice to have:
- Experience in the gambling or iGaming industry.
- Basic commercial contract drafting skills.
- Familiarity with KYC / AML processes.
- Experience using digital signing tools (DocuSign), entity and/or contract management platforms, and Legal AI tools.
