Key Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner.
- Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts (3-way matching).
- Ensure proper coding of expenses and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and execute payment runs (bank transfers, checks, etc.).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals.
- Support audits by providing required documentation.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
