Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Head of Wholesale & Retail Partnerships to lead the expansion of Bettervits into retail and wholesale channels across the UK and internationally. This role will be responsible for building and executing our retail distribution strategy from the ground up — identifying new opportunities, developing relationships with key retail buyers and distributors, and securing listings with premium health, wellness, pharmacy, and lifestyle retailers. Working closely with the leadership, operations, and marketing teams, the Head of Wholesale & Retail Partnerships will play a critical role in unlocking a major new growth channel for the brand. The ideal candidate has a strong network within the retail and wellness space, understands the economics of wholesale distribution, and has experience successfully bringing consumer brands into retail environments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Bettervits’ wholesale and retail expansion strategy across the UK and key international markets.
- Identify and secure new retail partnerships with health, wellness, pharmacy, and lifestyle retailers.
- Build and manage relationships with retail buyers, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Lead outreach and negotiations with retail accounts, including pricing, margin structures, and commercial terms.
- Manage onboarding of new retail partners, ensuring smooth integration with supply chain, operations, and fulfilment.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure inventory planning, forecasting, and retail demand are aligned.
- Support retail marketing initiatives including promotions, trade marketing, and in-store activations.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and retail meetings.
- Monitor performance of wholesale and retail channels, providing reporting and insights to leadership.
- Identify new opportunities for growth including international distribution, retail partnerships, and wholesale programs.
Ideal Profile:
- Previous experience building or managing wholesale and retail distribution channels for a consumer brand.
- Strong existing network of relationships with retail buyers, distributors, and industry partners.
- Deep understanding of retail pricing structures, margins, and wholesale economics.
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements and securing retail listings.
- Highly organised with strong commercial instincts and ability to drive revenue growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
