Role: Digital Solutions Account Manager

Location: Nottingham, NG2

Salary: to be discussed upon application

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30

Work Pattern: Hybrid working, 1/2 days from home

Our client, a well-established technology firm in Nottingham, is seeking to appoint a Digital Solutions Account Manager to its existing team. This role would be suited for candidates with extensive sales experience and a proven track record as an Account Manager for large, global organisations, selling B2B new technology, digital bespoke software and services solutions.

Experience

  • Field sales experience, dealing with corporate clients and selling B2B technology software and services solutions using a consultative approach.
  • Experience of preparing and presenting winning bespoke software and digital solutions.
  • Energy and passion to generate sales leads using multiple channels including direct calling, digital marketing and networking.
  • Effective people skills to build long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, planning and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and creative approach to selling new technology / digital bespoke solutions.
  • A good level of written and numerical skills and good proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems for recording sales activities, planning and reporting.

Duties

  • For each account, take ownership of its performance and develop a clear strategy to meet sales targets.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Obtain knowledge and understanding of assigned accounts, conduct research, and plan and execute effective sales activities.
  • Meet KPIs for client contact, client meetings and sales pipeline.
  • Generate leads using multiple channels, including telephone, online and face-to-face meetings, digital marketing and networking.
  • Record all activities of the assigned accounts in the CRM system, prepare reports for client meetings, and regularly submit sales forecasts and activity reports.
  • Direct and create commercial proposals.
