Role: Bookkeeper
Location: Central Lincoln
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 0845-1715; Friday, 0845-1645
Our client, a well established firm of Accountants in Lincoln, is seeking to appoint a Bookkeeper to its existing team.
Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping for a number of clients, ensuring accurate entry of data
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns for clients, liaising with client managers and monitoring deadlines for filing
- Develop good working relationships with clients and other departments in the practice
Experience and Qualifications
- AAT qualified or has suitable experience
- Experience of working within a bookkeeping bureau
- Knowledge of various VAT schemes available
- Excellent communication skills and experience liaising with clients regarding their books and records, VAT liabilities
- Experience liaising with HMRC regarding VAT for clients
- Experience using a range of different software including Xero, QuickBooks
