About the Team: The Directed Content Team is an integral part of the Expert Insights group, generating thousands of calls each quarter on high‑value and strategic content targets – ensuring that the AlphaSense Expert Transcript Library delivers comprehensive coverage to our users. The Directed Content team is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding the best possible experts from around the world based on the targets and topics we are looking to generate content against.

About the Role: Reporting to the Operations Manager, Directed Content, our Directed Content Analysts are responsible for sourcing highest‑quality and most‑relevant experts based on the scope of research projects defined by Project Managers. Analysts develop a deep understanding of the types of profiles that are most relevant targets and topics within their assigned industry territories, and leverage a combination of research skills and an inquisitive mindset to find individuals who meet those profiles.

Who You Are:

  • Experience: 2+ years in research, recruiting, talent sourcing, market intelligence, or a related role requiring proactive outreach and candidate/expert evaluation.
  • Inquisitive: Naturally interested in learning and quickly see patterns that help identify the best possible experts for a given research project.
  • Energetic: Proven ability to manage fast turnaround projects, meeting deadlines and targets.
  • Organized: Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Detail Oriented: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to discern and precisely document the core elements of an expert’s relevant skills or experience vis‑a‑vis a defined scope.
  • Excellent Communicator: Regularly engaging with industry experts to learn about their background and convey what it means to participate in our network.
  • Goal Oriented: Motivated by the idea of identifying and delivering the best‑possible expert profiles to our Client Contributors for each project scope quickly and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct research to identify the best‑fit experts for projects assigned by your Project Manager.
  • Work with your Project Manager to confirm and refine the scope of projects as you conduct research and sourcing.
  • Conduct email and LinkedIn outreach to prospective experts.
  • Coordinate and conduct calls with prospective experts to validate their background and fit for assigned projects.
  • Document experts’ relevant experience in a clear and concise manner – facilitating quick and accurate evaluation of expert profiles by Client Contributors.
  • Answer expert questions and handle any objections to maximize the onboarding rate of high‑quality and relevant experts to our network.
  • Negotiate expert rates to minimize costs while aligning payment to the value of the experts’ insight and background vis‑a‑vis the research target.
  • Support the scheduling of calls between experts and Client Contributors for your projects.
  • Monitor calls and troubleshoot any connectivity issues.
