We are looking for two experienced CNC Machinists who can set and operate CNC turning centres and vertical machine centres in a safe manner ensuring quality and production targets are achieved on a consistent basis.
To meet business needs there may be times when machinists will be required to work in other areas.
Training will be provided where required.
Your main responsibilities would be
- Operation of Mazak and Hass CNC programming systems.
- Program Mazak turning centres and Mazak 4 axis machine tools.
- Interpretation of engineering drawings.
- Inspection of work.
- Meet production and quality targets on a consistent basis.
- Input into continuous improvement initiatives.
- Keep work area tidy and safe.
The essential skills and experience we are looking for
- Strong Engineering skills with a minimum of 2 years setting and operating CNC Machines.
- Be able to work with the minimum of supervision.
- Good communication and team-work skills.
- Results-orientated with a “can do” approach.
- Be able to troubleshoot production problems.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System
