Our client who services and maintains all facilities within schools mainly in South East London are seeking an experienced Security Engineer with in-depth knowledge in servicing and maintaining CCTV, Access Control, intruder alarms, fire alarms and automated gates. They require a Security Engineer to deliver high-quality maintenance and servicing, ensuring system integrity and compliance.

You will carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance, and minor remedial work, ensuring all systems perform effectively and meet regulatory standards. Working as part of a team, you will be supported by dedicated service administrators and an electrician.

Full Time Permanent role Location: Orpington

Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver planned maintenance and reactive service calls
  • Communicate effectively with Site Managers completing detailed Job Service Reports for every School
  • Identifying and quoting for remedial works, ordering and collecting materials from our local suppliers
  • Maintain accurate records of service and performance
Systems You’ll Work With:
  • Fire: Gent, Advanced, Protec, and other open protocol systems
  • CCTV: HikVision, Avigilon, Dahua
  • Intruder: Galaxy, Texecom
  • Access Control: Paxton, Honeywell, Gallagher, Salto
Criteria:
  • Experience servicing and maintaining fire, Intruder, and CCTV systems to relevant British Standards
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Qualifications to be provided on interview
  • Full driving license required
  • Enhanced DBS required, our client will apply on your behalf
