We are working with a retail/hospitality client looking for a building/property surveyor who will manage various projects across sites within your portfolio. The role involves:
- Facilitating the effective delivery of a property surveying programme, including minor and major projects within agreed company criteria.
- Establishing an effective course of action to meet deadlines and deliver agreed results.
- Proactively managing the capital and reactive budgets.
- Evaluating data to reach logical decisions and take action.
- Understanding the impact of functional decisions on other parts of the organisation.
- Providing appropriate challenge within the function.
- Being aware of other people, their environment, and your own impact on them.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in:
- Previous experience in multi-site retail/pub/leisure developments.
- Excellent planning and implementation skills.
- A professional industry-recognised qualification: RICS, MBEng, CIOB or similar with 2 years+ experience.
- Experience of maintaining the property's asset value to enhance, refine, and improve its presentation and operating effectiveness.
You will need to travel around the South of England to visit locations within your area, therefore a driving licence is required. A car allowance will be provided for this field-based role. Additionally, you must have 2 years of experience working in this field.
