We are looking for an experienced communications lead with a strong background in managing and building the group communication plan to inspire stakeholders, both internally and externally. This plan will feed the internal communications, external communications, and public affairs teams’ core communication plans.

Ideally, you have worked in retail, leisure, hospitality, travel, etc. This role is suited for someone from a consumer communications background, accustomed to fast-paced environments and highly commercial settings. This position is not suitable for someone seeking a remote role or a slower-paced business.

  • Strategic planning: developing group communications
  • Bringing to life the communications strategy: acting as a lead in the team
  • Collaboration: working alongside core partners in Public Affairs, PR, etc.
  • Performance monitoring: working with communications leads to identify success and areas for improvement, using performance and measurement frameworks to monitor impact and inform continuous improvement

This is more of a corporate communications role than PR, so please do not apply if you are looking for a PR/press role.

You need to be able to travel to the client office during the week (ideally 2 to 3 days) as this is a critically visible position. There may be other travel required to other sites, but essentially you need to be at HQ.
