We're working with a client based in The West Midlands, seeking a Labour & Performance Operations Manager. The role is reporting into an Operations Director and within the retail operations team. The Labour & Performance Optimisation Manager is responsible for managing labour to optimize performance within stores. It's crucial in driving labour efficiencies to deliver positive returns against budget and year-over-year improvements.
- Owning and developing the labour model, mastering systems, evolving reporting, and working closely with the field and support functions are key for success in this role.
- This person will be a master of working across differing functions with a passion for data led decisions to guide, and influence, current and future strategy within stores.
- The gate keeper of store profitability, whilst ensuring the right initiatives land at the right times to ensure full impact across the store estate.
- This role is crucial in driving store efficiencies to deliver positive returns against budget and year-over-year improvements.
- Responsible for store workload capacity - ensuring sustainability, and profitability, when new initiatives or projects are launched, as such not overloading stores to protect, and optimise, performance.
- Understanding retail operations within stores is preferable but not essential.
