Better Placed is excited to be exclusively partnering with a high‑growth, Manchester‑headquartered business to appoint an FP&A Manager.
This is a multi‑site role supporting regional hubs across the UK, as the business continues its strong trajectory of organic growth, acquisitions, and product innovation. Backed by a forward‑thinking and commercially astute leadership team, you’ll be reporting directly into the CFO and play a pivotal role in shaping strategic financial decisions across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and ownership of full financial forecasts – P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Design and build scenario models to evaluate strategic decisions and operational trade‑offs.
- Deliver customer and product profitability analysis to support commercial strategy and resource allocation.
- Provide deep‑dive insights into margin performance, pricing, and cost optimisation opportunities.
- Partner with multi‑site and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate data into business action.
- Work with large and complex data sets, extracting and validating data to produce meaningful MI.
- Support strategic projects such as M&A, asset disposals, due diligence, and investment cases.
- Refine and automate forecasting and reporting models for enhanced efficiency and insight.
- Be a key contributor to the financial planning process across multiple UK sites.
About You
We’re looking for a critical thinker and proactive self‑starter – someone who can challenge the status quo and drive forward improvements in processes, visibility, and financial understanding across the business.
You’ll bring
