The group have been through a significant period of investment, moving sites onto Magento, building out an in-house Dev and UX team, launching into new territories and brand repositioning. Now is a truly exciting time for anyone to join this Ecommerce group.

I am looking for an experienced Ecommerce Trading Manager to join their team and be part of their next phase of investment. With a clear strategy in mind, they are looking for someone to join as an experienced Ecommerce Manager to lead the next phase of growth.

Managing multiple Magento websites across D2C and Trade. Previous experience working on large Magento websites is essential for this role; without it, unfortunately, your application will not be picked up.

We are looking for someone who has a mix of strategic thinking, data analysis, technical proficiency, and a strong understanding of eCommerce best practices.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Drive the Ecommerce strategy forward, ensuring its usability and customer satisfaction.
  • Overseeing all aspects of website performance, customer experience, and sales optimisation to meet business objectives.
  • Supporting future site development, identifying opportunities and scoping requirements.
  • Management and development of their team to deliver the plan and achieve our objectives.
  • Analysing and optimising site performance using various data sources including customer data, site metrics, competitor analysis, and research – making recommendations to drive performance.
  • Support in coordinating site content and promotional planning.
  • Regular competitor and market tracking to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Overseeing a comprehensive CRO plan to inform website development and improve metrics – agency support.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Highly analytical and numerate and proficient in Excel and Google Analytics.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team, promoting ownership and accountability.
  • Have a proven track record in driving site optimisation working closely with a senior management team.
  • Ability to interpret data and use metrics like conversion rates and sales performance to inform decisions.
  • Magento experience is essential.
  • Ideally experience working closely with wider Digital and SEO teams, gained experience in their digital marketing strategies.
  • Basic knowledge of web development and UX/UI principles.
  • Experience with A/B testing.
