Content Manager

Our client are a fast scaling ecommerce brand who are looking for a detail orientated Content Manager / Content Executive who will be responsible for building, publishing, and optimising content across their website for a 3 month contract.

The successful candidate will responsible for migrating content from Shopify to new website platform, migrating compelling brand and performance led content whilst optimising user journeys ensuring they are brand-aligned, optimised for audience segmentation and SEO for a seamless ecommerce experience.

The role:

Digital Content Migration & Search engine visibility

Drive a dynamic, user-focused web experience by managing and optimizing all content within a Content Management System

Regularly update pages, review & refresh copy, and ensure site content is SEO-optimised, accessible and on-brand.

Create, edit, and optimise pages across the website such as landing pages, product pages & descriptions, product listing pages & blog articles within the CMS

Image Management: Upload, resize, and compress visuals for speed and responsiveness

Layout & Design: Build engaging, on-brand pages using CMS templates and design tools

Implement SEO and brand compliant content following mobile first & UX principles, accessibility guidelines, and brand voice including adding relevant meta tags (keywords and descriptions) for search optimisation

Publishing & Scheduling: Ability to publish content at pace in-line with tight deadlines, with first time right mentality

Proofread and review all content to maintain accuracy, clarity, and brand voice

Follow processes and sign offs with Digital & Marketing teams

Create briefs for new content such as copy, imagery or video where there are opportunities to improve performance (speed) issues or implement UX improvements

Work closely with UX/UI designer / website agency to create simple, intuitive and user-friendly experiences
