We are searching for a talented Head of Data and Analytics for a fast scaling consumer business who are really making a difference to lives of people across the country. The business is continuing to grow and innovate and is therefore seeking a strategic and technical leader to spearhead data and analytics initiatives and communicate insights to stakeholders. The successful hire will enjoy providing insight from complex disparate data sets to enable the business to make well informed decisions. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead data transformation in a fast-growing retailer.
The role:
- Develop a customer first strategy by owning data management, analytics and encouraging a culture of data driven decision making throughout the business.
- Define and implement a comprehensive ecommerce data strategy, identifying customers based on purchase behaviour.
- Develop and mentor a small data and analytics team.
- Define and deliver advanced analytics solutions to support business decision making and optimisation including loyalty and pricing models.
- Work closely with colleagues in cross functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Own the selection and implementation of data and analytics tools and tech.
- Develop KPIs to monitor, assess and improve on the effectiveness of all marketing channels.
The Person:
- Strong understanding of data management, analytics, and visualisation tools (e.g. SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
- Proven experience developing and executing data strategies in a consumer brand.
- Enjoys bringing data to life and conveying complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
