Our client is looking for an experienced trades person with engineering/technical skills to train as a Domestic Appliance Engineer. Our client is family owned and family focused, and has been a part of the Salisbury community for over 40 years, offering both the sales and repairs of domestic appliances. The Role: As a trades transfer trainee, you will be involved in the diagnosis, repair and installation of large domestic appliances across a multitude of brands. You will be trained and mentored through multiple levels while you build up to become a professional and qualified domestic appliance engineer. You will work towards completing up to 10 jobs a day, requiring you to be efficient and organised in all work that you do. Through every part of the repair process, you will be delivering service excellence to our customers and ensuring that they feel heard, seen and taken care of. Full training and support is offered to all our trainees.
Responsibilities:
- Professionally diagnosing and repairing large domestic appliances.
- Occasionally delivering and installing large domestic appliances, both free standing and integrated, across a multitude of brands.
- Ensuring a clean work environment that you can be proud of, including both the customer’s house and your van.
- Sharing your product knowledge and expertise with our customers.
