Labourers in Marine Construction Farnham based with UK travel Up to £40k per annum Company Vehicle plus fuel Our client makes temporary dams, flood defences and works on marine construction projects across the UK. As they win more and more business, they are working with us to find physically fit, hard-working individuals to work in their marine construction teams, all over the UK. The work will mean that you are working up to your chest in water, building dams and underwater walls etc. Full training is given but you must be happy working in water and be able to swim. This role means travelling all over the UK and staying away all week from Monday to Friday staying in hotels The hotel accommodation is always of a good standard and a generous subsistence allowance is paid of £28 per night. Overtime is usually available and is paid at 1.5x for evenings and weekends and 2x for Bank Holidays. You will be provided with a van and fuel card and all your uniform and tools Ideal Candidates MUST BE: Will be physically fit and able to swim Will have full clean UK driving license Will live within 1 hrs drive of Borden nr Guildford GU35 Will have around 3 years experience in a labouring/construction/outdoors role Will be looking for a genuine career, where they can progress and grow Will be happy to stay away from home during the week - anywhere from Inverness to London Will be enthusiastic team players Should hold or be willing to complete the CITB Health and Safety Test to qualify for a CSCS card.
