As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our busy team. Better Kitchens provide complete kitchens and components to customers across the UK who will have placed an order using our online shop, in our showroom or over the telephone.
The role of Warehouse Operative involves manual handling while assembling kitchen units, heavy lifting of items such as worktops and working to tight deadlines. The position requires good communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work closely within a team. This position is ideal for those looking to make a start in the workplace. The primary duties of this role include:
- Assembling Kitchen Units and Fittings on a production line.
- Maintaining quality throughout the production process.
- Working with team members to ensure deadlines are met.
- Updating systems and paperwork as required.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Assisting other departments when required.
Full Time contract. 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. 40 Hour Week. AM and PM overtime when required including occasional weekends.
