We're looking for forward-thinking Audiologist / Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser ready to take the reins and lead our practice into the future of hearing care with ambition to have your own practice.
*Role Description* This full-time, on-site Hearing Aid Audiologist role is based in Cockermouth with some travel to satellite practices. The Hearing Aid Audiologist will conduct hearing assessments, interpret test results, and recommend appropriate hearing aid solutions tailored to each customer's needs. Daily responsibilities include fitting and adjusting hearing aids, educating customers on device use and care, and providing follow-up support to ensure optimal performance. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, collaborating with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service, and staying current with developments in hearing technology and best practices.
Basic pay plus commision.
*Qualifications*
- Professional qualification in audiology or hearing aid dispensing, with appropriate registration or eligibility to register with relevant UK regulatory bodies.
- Experience conducting hearing assessments, fitting and programming hearing aids, and providing aftercare and follow-up support.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain clinical information clearly and empathetically.
- Ability to work safely and responsibly in a retail clinical environment, including accurate record-keeping and adherence to confidentiality standards.
- Comfort with using diagnostic equipment, digital fitting software, and basic office technology.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage appointments and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training in hearing care and related technologies.
- Previous 2 years plus experience in hearing care a minimum.
- Live local or prepared to re-locate.

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
