A great new permanent opportunity for an HR/People Advisor to join a growing HR Team in the Bristol area. Due to company expansion, my client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and talented individual to join them predominantly covering Employee Relations and staff Operations.
You will ideally be CIPD qualified and possess a couple of years’ experience in an HR Assistant or HR Advisor role and looking to grow your experience, knowledge and career further in the future.
Providing strong employee relations support across a mix of field based and office-based employees, handling some complex cases. Coach and support line managers to build capability and confidence in people management. Support managers with on-boarding, interviews, occupational health and safety, policies and procedures, grievances and disciplinaries and supporting the Senior HR Business Partner with various HR related projects.
This is a busy, varied role with the opportunity to build strong relationships with staff, Managers and Stakeholders. Excellent ongoing training and support working in a positive and friendly environment.
Please note, this is a fairly urgent position, and you will either be available immediately or with minimal notice. No more than one month notice please. There is a competitive salary, fantastic company benefits and free parking. Hybrid working on offer of two days in the office and three days working from home every week.
Experience/Skills/Attributes:- Minimum of two years’ experience working in HR as an HR Assistant or HR Advisor is essential
- Strong experience of employee relations is essential
- Experience of working with office and field-based employees
- CIPD qualified Level 5 is the ideal – or equivalent
- Good knowledge of employment law
- Degree educated
- Organised, forward thinking with outstanding communication skills
- Approachable and supportive
- Happy and experienced in working within a fast-paced and growing environment
- Ability to build strong relationships with staff and Stakeholders
- Willing to learn and study further, keeping up to date with policies
