We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer with strong UI/UX skills to join our nationally recognised client. The Senior Developer will be a key member of an Agile Sprint team, helping to deliver high-quality digital products across the company's ecosystem. The successful candidate will have strong front-end skills and can create scalable and engaging customer experiences. You will also contribute to backend services and internal tools, including a bespoke system built with Angular/JHipster and work with AWS serverless services as part of the wider digital estate.
Working closely with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders you will help deliver seamless customer journeys, gaining exposure to a range of modern technologies and practices including Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
Skills and experience needed:- Strong experience working as a Senior Developer particularly in front-end delivery UX/UI.
- Strong communication skills, able to work with business stakeholders to support configurable and personalised customer experiences.
- Familiar with A/B testing and using data to improve UX and conversion.
- Comfortable writing testable, well-structured code and eager to learn best practices.
- Able to collaborate effectively in Agile teams, communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Familiar with AWS cloud services and open to developing skills in serverless patterns.
- Motivated by continuous learning, teamwork, and delivering great digital experiences for customers.
- Experience of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) highly desirable.
This role does require hybrid working ideally 3 days a week onsite with flexibility around the days and working hours.
