Exciting full-time, permanent opportunity to join a Global Digital Business located in West Sussex as a Front-End Developer. Joining a dynamic and busy Digital Operations Team, you will be experienced in building and amending websites within a commercial business setting using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
The ideal candidate will have an absolute minimum of two years experience as a Front-End Developer. You will be building dynamic and multi-faceted websites to create engaging user-centric, responsive and accessible digital experiences. The successful candidate will also play a role in enhancing development processes and best practices and participate in technical meetings.
You will have the ability to understand the fundamentals of the code within a business environment and be thoughtful with a high attention to detail. The role will include Web/UX designs and wireframes to code, including responsive and animated elements (responsive navigation and/or on-scroll animations). You will be creating and executing production-ready code across multiple devices, testing your own work and liaising with the testing team for more complex bug fixes. Making improvements and taking pride in the presentation of your work, promoting top quality work across the Front-End and UX team.

Skills/experience and attributes required:
- At least two years experience as a Front-End Developer
- Degree educated
- Experience of React; experience of having worked on business-related projects would be enough
- An interest and knowledge of React and willingness to learn further would be ideal
- Experience of working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind and JSON
- Experience of working with SAAS/SCSS
- Experience of working with Figma
- An interest in using frameworks such as jQuery and React
- Experience of working within an Agile environment
- An understanding of website design skills and substantial experience using Adobe Suite or Figma
- The ability to explain and demonstrate your work to the team, Project Managers, Digital Marketeers and Testers
- High attention to detail
- Thoughtful with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoys working as part of a smaller collaborative team and within a wider Digital department
- Self-motivated and also happy to work independently
- Ability and happy to work and comply with company procedures
- Not afraid to ask questions and to provide updates on your work when required
