A fantastic new permanent opportunity to join a busy operations team as a Data Collector and Analyst. This is a junior level position that would ideally suit a Graduate holding either a Maths or Science related degree or similar. The main purpose of the role is to pick up validation and the investigation of data, reviewing and arranging jobs for Engineers and handling any supplier or customer queries. Arranging delivery of equipment and updating customers with any changes. This is an analytical role using various in-house systems, Excel and Word. Communication with customers is predominantly through email using Outlook and attending teams’ meetings. The role is varied and busy and this is a great opportunity to start your career within a commercial, professional office environment. After full training is complete, the role offers hybrid working of two days in the office and three days working from home every week. There is plenty of local parking available and the office is a short walk from a train station.

Skills/experience/attributes required:

  • Degree educated is essential, ideally Maths, Science or similar
  • Some kind of professional working experience/admin and customer service experience
  • Confident with Word, Excel and Outlook – Excel especially
  • Comfortable with using Teams
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Analytical mind and an interest in data
  • Accurate with a high attention to detail
  • Enjoys working as part of a team but also under own initiative
  • Fast learner and enjoys learning new skills
