Excellent opportunity to join a successful Energy and Data company as an Asset Analyst. The role is initially on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. The company is in Surrey and are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an analytical mind to join a smaller, friendly but integral team within the business.
The main purpose of the role is to maintain the asset data that underpins the customer portfolio to maximise revenue and to resolve customer queries. This is mainly a back-office role, most of the customer queries are received by email, then it is the Asset Analyst's job to provide a solid front-line service for the meter and network services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain the asset data and ensure the meter databases and industry registers are accurate through reporting and reconciliations.
- Track and recover meter assets that have been removed from customers.
- Maintain the network systems to ensure the growing portfolio and meter points are registered and included in billing following a meter being installed.
- Ensure service level agreements are being met and work to KPIs according to company procedures.
The role would ideally suit a Graduate that is looking for more of an analytical, problem solving, administrative and numerical position where you can build a career within an exciting, growing organisation. You could also be working within a similar position and looking for your next challenge.
There is hybrid working available of two days in the office and three days working from home per week. The office is a short walk to a train station and there is plenty of local parking available. In-depth and ongoing training will be provided. Great positive and supportive team environment.
Skills/experience and attributes required:
- Ideally degree educated, preferably some kind of business related degree.
- Some work experience is essential, ie; customer service/administration etc.
- Strong Excel skills and capable of learning more complex tasks on Excel.
- Confident with Word and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills written and verbal.
- An analytical and numerical mind.
- Keen eye for detail and good problem solver.
- Strive to get things right first time.
- Supportive and helpful team player.
- Demonstrate a customer focused approach.
- Professional, confident and calm in busy situations.
- Able to present information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Experience of using systems or customer databases is highly desirable.
