Better Collective is looking for an SEO Manager to join our Paris team. In this strategic role, you will be the engine for our organic growth by leading the SEO strategy for our flagship websites in the North American markets (USA & Canada) within the iGaming sector. If you are a technical and strategic expert ready to take on a major international challenge, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the complete SEO strategy (On-page, Off-page, Technical) tailored for the North American market.
  • Build and execute an ambitious SEO roadmap, in close collaboration with Content Managers and the development team.
  • Analyze North American SERPs, conduct market research, and run competitive benchmarks to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead site migrations and/or redesign projects, guaranteeing SEO performance throughout.
  • Monitor and analyze performance (traffic, rankings, conversions) using our tools, and provide clear, actionable reporting to management.

Technical & Semantic Expertise

  • Conduct in-depth technical audits (crawl, indexation, performance, logs) and prioritize corrective actions.
  • Analyze link profiles (ours and competitors') to refine the netlinking strategy.
  • Define relevant keyword and internal linking strategies for the US/Canada market.
  • Establish a "Test & Learn" culture by formulating and testing SEO hypotheses to innovate constantly.
  • Act as the go-to SEO expert for the North American market, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Collaborate with developers to specify and implement technical optimization.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our global SEO process.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-4 years of confirmed SEO experience with a strong technical focus.
  • Language: Fluent English (C1 level or higher) to think, analyze, and communicate daily in an English-speaking market.
  • Tools: Expert mastery of SEO tools (Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4, crawlers like Screaming Frog, log analysis tools) and advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, complex analysis).
  • Technical: Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS and their impact on SEO; proven experience managing migrations and/or redesigns of high-traffic sites.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of E-E-A-T concepts and their practical application, especially for YMYL topics.
  • Strategy: Strategic vision for AI's impact on search (SGE, Generative AI) and how to adapt the SEO strategy accordingly; experience with Google Discover and/or Google Top Stories is a plus.

  • Proactive & organized: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities autonomously.
  • Excellent communicator: Strong team player in an international context.
  • Passionate: Genuine passion for SEO with ongoing monitoring of algorithm changes.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of the iGaming sector or experience in highly competitive markets (US/UK).
