Better Collective is a global digital sports media group on a mission to excite sports fans and build communities worldwide. We operate at the intersection of sports, media, technology, betting, and prediction markets. With brands like FUTBIN, HLTV, Action Network, Playmaker HQ, VegasInsider, Bolavip, FutbolSites, and more, we engage 450+ million monthly users worldwide. We combine the scale of a corporation with the speed and mindset of a startup.

We are seeking a Director of FUTBIN to lead the strategic, product and commercial direction of one of the most widely used platforms in the football gaming ecosystem. The Director will be responsible for shaping the long term vision, owning the full P&L, driving user growth and engagement, overseeing product innovation and ensuring FUTBIN remains the go-to destination for players worldwide. This is a high-ownership role for a commercially-minded leader who can balance platform excellence with revenue growth and financial accountability.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute the long term product and business strategy for FUTBIN.
  • Own the full P&L for the platform — setting revenue targets, managing the cost base, and driving profitable growth across all channels.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across product, design, content and marketing.
  • Drive user acquisition, retention and monetisation strategies across web and mobile platforms.
  • Develop and optimise multiple revenue streams including advertising, subscriptions, affiliate partnerships and premium features, with a sharp eye on unit economics and margin.
  • Oversee roadmap prioritisation using data insights, market trends and user feedback.
  • Develop partnerships within the football gaming and esports ecosystem.
  • Identify and evaluate new commercial opportunities — from sponsorships and brand integrations to licensing and data partnerships.
  • Enhance platform features such as player databases, pricing tools, squad builders and analytics.
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of the platform.
  • Champion a strong community-first approach in all product decisions.
  • Manage senior stakeholders and report on key business KPIs — including revenue, margin, ARPU and LTV — to executive leadership and investors.

What we're looking for

  • 6–8 years of experience in product leadership, digital media, gaming or sports tech.
  • Proven P&L ownership experience — comfortable setting budgets, forecasting revenue and driving margin improvement across a consumer platform.
  • Commercially-minded with a track record of growing revenue through diversified monetisation models including ads, subscriptions, partnerships and hybrid approaches.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Strong background in product strategy, growth and user engagement at scale.
  • Deep understanding of data analytics, experimentation and KPI-driven development.
  • Experience with platforms serving large consumer audiences.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of the football gaming ecosystem.

Nice to have

  • Experience in esports, fantasy sports or gaming communities.
  • Familiarity with EA SPORTS FC / Ultimate Team.
  • Knowledge of SEO, content strategy, and community-led growth.
  • Experience with personalisation, recommendation systems.
  • Exposure to fundraising, investor reporting or operating within a PE/VC-backed environment.
