Passionate about SEO? Ready to conquer the most competitive markets in Europe? Better Collective is looking for an SEO Manager to join our team in Paris. In this strategic role, you will be leading SEO strategy and organic growth for our flagship websites in European markets, within the demanding iGaming sector. If you are a technical and strategic expert ready to take on a major international challenge, this role is for you.

Your Mission & Responsibilities

  • As the SEO Manager of major European high-traffic sites (more than 50K indexed pages and hundreds of weekly publications), your goal is to maximize qualified organic visibility and outperform the competition.
  • Define and drive the complete SEO strategy (On-page, Off-page, Technical) tailored for European markets.
  • Build and execute an ambitious SEO roadmap, in close collaboration with Content Managers and development teams.
  • Analyze SERPs, conduct market research, and run competitive benchmarks to identify growth opportunities.
  • Participate in UX, CRO and product development guaranteeing SEO performance throughout.
  • Monitor and analyze performance (traffic, rankings, conversions) using our tools, and provide clear, actionable reporting to management.

Technical & Semantic Expertise

  • Conduct in-depth technical audits (crawl, indexation, performance, logs) and prioritize corrective actions.
  • Analyze link profiles (ours and competitors') to refine the netlinking strategy.
  • Define relevant keyword and internal linking strategies.
  • Establish a "Test & Learn" culture by formulating and testing SEO hypotheses to innovate constantly.

Collaboration & Influence

  • Act as the go-to SEO expert, actively sharing knowledge and best practices and evangelising local teams.
  • Collaborate with developers, CRO and UX designers to specify and implement technical optimizations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our global SEO processes.

Your Profile to Succeed

  • Technical Skills (Must-Haves)
  • 3-7 years of confirmed experience in SEO, with a strong technical focus.
  • Fluent English (1 level or higher required): You will be thinking, analyzing, and communicating daily in English.
  • Expert mastery of SEO tools (Semrush, Ahrefs, GSC, GA4, crawlers like Screaming Frog, log analysis tools).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (tables, complex analysis).
  • Solid knowledge of web languages (HTML/CSS/JS) and their impact on SEO.
  • Proven experience in managing migrations and/or redesigns of high-traffic sites.
  • Deep understanding of E-E-A-T concepts and their practical application, especially for YMYL topics.
  • Strategic vision for AI's impact on search (SGE, Generative AI) and how to adapt SEO strategy accordingly.
  • Experience with or strong understanding of Google Discover and/or Google Top Stories.
