The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 ÂŁ per year.
Reporting to the Senior Trader, the Junior Trader will be responsible for specifically targeted at 'in-play trading' and 'market monitoring' but encompasses all stages of the market life-cycle including quality assurance at each stage of the process in order to maximise revenues and minimise client contacts. The requirements of our B2C customers and B2B partners must be at the forefront of all trader's thoughts. This role will include training and trading of a number of key sports and will provide a platform to explore all of the opportunities the Group has to offer from an entry level position.
Responsibilities
- Trading on a variety of events across a number of sports, with a specific focus on high volume trading.
- Preparing trading models for in-play events through accurate entry of pricing variables using the underlying market as a basis.
- Providing timely manipulation of trading models/platforms and monitoring of market conditions to maintain accurate preâmatch outputs for both inâplay and nonâlive events.
- Ensuring accurate entry of inâplay match data for inâplay events.
- Analysing and recording trading performance for future reference and performance management.
- Maintaining a multitude of databases relating to the relevant sports and competitions.
- Having awareness of wholesale client requirements depending on sport/jurisdiction/market liquidity.
- Reporting on model/pricing/feed provider issues to the Senior Trading team.
- Communicating with Front Line Support and Risk departments during trading to ensure accurate and efficient service is provided to all clients.
- Gaining a basic working knowledge and understanding of all Sporting Group systems and processes to maximise trading efficiency.
- Successfully completing all internal and external training courses where applicable.

- A Quantitative degree or similar
